  • The Norditropin FlexPro 5 mg/1.5 mL pen is a user-friendly, single-use delivery device preloaded with biosynthetic human growth hormone (somatropin). It is designed for individualized dosing with 160 possible dose options, enabling fine-tuning of the therapy. This particular strength (5 mg) allows up to 2 mg per injection, selectable in 0.025 mg increments, offering excellent dosing flexibility.

Visually, the pen features a distinct yellow/orange coloration on its push button, cap, and cartridge holder—making it easily distinguishable from other FlexPro strengths.

The solution inside is clear and colorless. It’s intended for subcutaneous use and should be stored under refrigeration (2–8 °C / 36–46 °F). After the first use, it can be kept refrigerated for up to 4 weeks or stored at room temperature (≤ 25 °C / ≤ 77 °F) for up to 3 weeks.

This pen supports treatment for a range of conditions, including growth hormone deficiency (in both children and adults), growth failure associated with chronic kidney disease, and genetic growth disorders (such as Turner syndrome, Noonan syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, or children born small for gestational age).

It comes equipped for ease of use: dose dialing, priming, and injection steps are streamlined, and the safety and usability design received high user ratings.
