Return Policy
Due to the nature of prescription medications and cold chain requirements, our return policy is structured around specific scenarios. We stand behind every order we dispatch — if something goes wrong, we will make it right.
Overview
Prescription medications are regulated products — once dispensed by a licensed pharmacist, they cannot be returned, restocked, or resold under any circumstances. This is a regulatory requirement, not a business choice.
However, ColdRxMeds takes full responsibility for our role in the supply chain — the quality, accuracy, and cold chain integrity of every order we dispatch. Where a problem occurs that is within our control, we will resolve it at no cost to you.
Eligible Scenarios — What We Cover
The following scenarios are covered under our return and reship policy. In each case, contact us at info@coldrxmeds.com with your order number and supporting details.
Temperature-compromised shipment
If your medication arrives showing evidence that the cold chain was compromised during transit, do not use the medication. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the packaging and temperature indicator. We will reship your full order at no charge.
Lost in transit
If your order has not arrived within 14 business days of your expected delivery date, contact us. We will open an investigation with the carrier. Where a shipment is confirmed lost, we will reship your order at no charge within 3 business days of confirmation.
Wrong medication or quantity
If you receive a medication or quantity that does not match your confirmed order, contact us within 5 business days of delivery. We will arrange to send the correct medication or quantity at no cost. Do not use any medication you believe was incorrectly dispensed.
Significantly damaged packaging
If your outer packaging is significantly damaged on arrival in a way that may have compromised the medication, photograph it before opening and contact us within 5 business days of delivery. We will assess and arrange a replacement where the medication has been compromised.
Not Eligible for Return or Refund
The following scenarios are not covered under this policy. This is consistent with standard pharmacy practice and the regulatory requirements governing prescription medication dispensing.
Change of mind after dispatch
Once your order has been dispensed and shipped, we are unable to offer a refund or accept a return if you change your mind, decide you no longer need the medication, or find it at a lower price elsewhere. Dispensed prescription medications cannot be returned to a pharmacy under any circumstances.
Prescription changes after dispatch
If your physician changes your prescription after your order has already been dispensed and shipped, we are unable to offer a refund for the dispensed medication. Please ensure your prescription is current and confirmed before placing your order. We recommend contacting us before ordering if your prescription is under review.
Incorrect delivery address provided at checkout
ColdRxMeds is not responsible for orders that are undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you at checkout. Please review your delivery address carefully before confirming your order. We cannot reship or refund orders returned due to an address error on your part.
Opened medications (non-defective)
For safety and regulatory reasons, any medication that has been opened and is not defective, damaged, or incorrectly dispensed cannot be returned or refunded. This applies regardless of whether the medication has been used.
How to Submit a Claim
All return, reship, and correction requests are handled by email. There is no returns portal or form — just email us with the details below and we will take it from there.
Do not use the medication if you believe it is compromised
If your medication appears temperature-compromised, incorrectly dispensed, or the packaging is significantly damaged — do not use it. Set it aside and contact us immediately.
Photograph the packaging and medication before opening
For temperature, damage, or incorrect order claims, photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, temperature indicator (if visible), and the medication label significantly speed up resolution.
Email info@coldrxmeds.com with the following
Your full name, order number, a brief description of the issue, and any supporting photos. We respond to all order issues within one business day.
We confirm and arrange reship or correction
Once we have reviewed your claim, we will confirm the resolution — reship, correction, or assessment — and arrange dispatch within 3 business days of claim approval.

Cold Chain & Temperature Excursions
Cold chain integrity is central to our operation. All GLP-1s, biologics, insulins, and specialty injectables require strict temperature control from the moment of dispensing through final delivery, and we take this responsibility seriously.
- All temperature-sensitive medications ship in validated insulated packaging with calibrated gel packs, maintained at 2°–8°C throughout transit.
- Temperature indicators and data loggers are available on request for patients and partners who require documented cold chain verification. Please contact us before ordering to arrange.
- If your shipment arrives and you have any concern about the temperature integrity — whether or not a temperature indicator is present — contact us immediately. Do not use the medication.
- ColdRxMeds will not ask you to prove temperature failure beyond a reasonable description and photograph of the packaging condition. We err on the side of patient safety.
