Tyenne (tocilizumab) is a prescription biologic medication developed as a biosimilar to RoActemra. Tyenne is approved for the treatment of moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, giant cell arteritis, polyarticular and systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis, CAR T-cell-induced cytokine release syndrome, and, in certain regions, hospitalized COVID-19 patients receiving corticosteroids who require supplemental oxygen or mechanical ventilation. It is available as intravenous infusion and subcutaneous pre-filled syringe or pre-filled pen formulations, allowing healthcare providers to tailor treatment to individual patient needs.
