Mektovi (binimetinib) is a kinase inhibitor prescribed for the treatment of unresectable or metastatic melanoma with a specific mutation (BRAF V600E or V600K). It works by blocking the activity of MEK1 and MEK2 proteins, which are part of the MAPK/ERK pathway that promotes cancer cell growth and survival.
